Next Outdoor Adventures was founded in 2020 by Andy Newman and Natalie Kramer after they began documenting their own progression as skiers. The original goal was to help other skiers understand terrain, trail difficulty and the practical experience of visiting unfamiliar resorts. The project later expanded into written ski-planning guides, hiking guides, national park coverage and scenic outdoor videos.
Our mission is to help readers choose destinations and plan trips using information they can apply: terrain progression, lift layout, route difficulty, seasonal conditions, crowds, parking, transportation and realistic timing. We show both the advantages and limitations of a destination so readers can decide whether it fits their ability, schedule and goals.
Iconic resorts like Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Copper Mountain, Chamonix, and the Dolomites—paired with written guides that explain terrain flow, lift access, and trip-planning considerations. Our POV and scenic footage helps you visualize signature trails and zones.

Our goal is to publish practical guidance that helps you plan a better day outside. We write with a “what you’ll actually experience” mindset: terrain flow, visibility, crowds, access, and seasonal timing. We clearly distinguish firsthand observations from researched information. Whenever possible, we base content on firsthand visits and our own trail footage; we also reference official sources (resort trail maps, operating details, seasonal information, and published park guidance) to keep facts accurate and current.
We prioritize clarity over hype. If a destination has meaningful tradeoffs—crowding, exposure, navigation complexity, wind holds, limited beginner terrain—we call that out so you can choose the right fit for your preferences and ability level.
